Our Process
At Bespoke Homes, we pride ourselves not just on our finished products, but on the process we use to get there. Many builders use basic per square foot pricing. We prefer to start by learning more about you. Does a generic square foot pricing include the upgraded HVAC system that’s a high priority for your family due to allergies? Does it include the kitchen countertop you’ve always dreamed about? Heated floors in the bathroom? Detached art studio? We like to first understand what’s important to you, and then start concepting.
The first step in our process is
CONCEPTING
If you’re starting from scratch, we will meet together to talk through your project in general – size, level of finishes, budget, location, etc. From there, we will craft a series of loose concepts for your review, and we’ll focus on collaboration the entire way. Once we land on a concept that you love, that’ll allow us to provide a rough pricing range for your project, as well as identify what it will take to move from concepting into design.
The second step in our process is
DESIGN
Based on your approved concept, we will work to develop the specific design details within that concept. This is the part of the project where we will spend the most time planning, dialing in all the details, and making sure that we all know exactly what you want to build. Once you’ve approved all the details, we will be able to firmly price your project as well as provide a timeline for the build.
The third step in our process is
BUILD
Based on your approved design, we will already have the vast majority of questions answered and details figured out. That means no stressful last minute decisions for you, no surprise budget upgrades based on your choices, and a smooth, easy build process. We pride ourselves on great communication throughout your build. You will also have easy online access to our project portal where you can see the actual build schedule, progress photos, and other updates in real-time as your build progresses.
We are happy to start working with you at any phase of your project. For example, if you have a full architectural set of drawings already completed, we will be able to jump straight to build and price your project with specific choices. Or if you have a rough draftsman plan set, we can jump right into design and help you dial in all the details and decisions necessary to get to an accurate final build.
